Multiple Hurt as In-Flight Disturbance Strikes A Delta Airlines Plane Landing at Sydney
Several people were hurt after a Delta jet traveling from Los Angeles to Sydney experienced significant turbulence on Friday morning.
Flight DL41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it made its approach and landed at Sydney Airport, a company official informed. Several cabin crew members were injured.
Emergency medical services reported they evaluated five individuals, and transferred three of them to the hospital with relatively minor issues that comprised back pain and headaches. Those affected were between their 30s up to the 70s.
